We launched our White Collar division just a few months ago but the team are already exceeding expectations so we're ready to take on another consultant to help us deliver permanent and contract recruitment in the mining and renewables sector.
The roles you'd be recruiting for are typically mid to senior level, include all variety of Mining Managers, Engineers and Site Supervisors and require a high level of attention-to-detail and good matching skills. The market is very job-heavy and candidate short so you'll need to be excellent at finding and engaging with passive candidates, good at managing and controlling a process and have resilience, patience and persistence.
What is recruitment?
It’s a varied role but essentially you’re responsible for matching candidates to jobs and helping companies to find the talent they need. At Mass you’ll begin by focusing on candidate management which includes:
As you progress, there’ll be opportunities to manage jobs and do business development, and as our company grows you’ll have the chance to find your own clients and manage accounts.
It’s a hard job as candidates are scarce, and good people find work quickly, so you’ll spend a lot of your day on the phone speaking to people and interviewing in the office, and you'll need a high level of drive and resilience to persist with this task.

The package
We offer a base salary of 60k plus super, and a commission scheme where you earn a monthly bonus based on the number of candidates you place and jobs you fill. Based on how the team is currently performing, in your first year you could easily earn an additional 40-50k in bonus, but it's completely in your hands!
