Mass Resources is looking for a Receptionist to join our team in Osborne Park and provide great customer service and make great first impressions to our visitors. We’re a recruitment company, specialising in mostly blue-collar trades, so we have a steady stream of labourers and tradespeople coming into our office to register for work, as well as clients and suppliers. As the first person they’ll meet, you’ll play a pivotal role in making sure they have a great experience at Mass Resources.

The role

Primarily you’ll be responsible for greeting candidates coming in for interviews, setting them up in interview rooms and helping them to complete registration paperwork. You’ll also be in charge of answering incoming calls from job-seekers and our field-based employers, either directing them to the appropriate consultant or answering their query, and supporting the recruitment team with administration, such as maintaining candidate records, uploading documents into the database, reformatting resumes and managing the office inbox.

You’ll also be involved in conducting short health and safety screening exercises with our candidates and entering their results into the system – this is very easy and you’ll receive training on how to do it.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm and we’re open to someone wanting fulltime or parttime work (for PT, we’d ideally want someone to work every day but we’d be happy for them to do reduced hours)

What you’ll need to be successful

We’re looking for someone with a great attitude, a focus on delivering great customer service and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You’re warm and engaging, friendly and professional, and can relate to blue-collar candidates as well as white collar clients and corporate customers. You’re hardworking and efficient, have good computer skills and a can-do attitude. You’re comfortable working independently, and enjoy talking to people and interacting with others all day long.

Individuals that are studying/have studied Exercise Physiology or Health & Safety might enjoy this role given that you’ll be involved in conducting health and safety assessments with candidates registering for work.

We encourage applications from a diverse range of applicants.

What you’ll get in return

Recently recognised as a Great Place to Work, Mass Resources offers a friendly and enjoyable environment, working with a good bunch of people in a modern office in Osborne Park. You’ll get:

  • Base salary of 55k plus super (prorated for part-time/reduced hours)
  • Free parking
  • 9 day fortnight, offering up to 17 extra paid-days off per year (once you pass probation – one day off per month for part-time employees)
