Having founded Mass Resources in 2013, Charlie is a natural entrepreneur and leader who is outcome focused. His strong influencing, negotiation, stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills lie at the heart of Mass’ ongoing story of growth.

At the core of Charlie’s values is a commitment to delivery, honesty and integrity. Today, he remains focused upon making Mass a destination of preference for talent and provider of choice for industry through the continued refinement of its great working environment. A keen boxer, Charlie can often be found with the gloves on, keeping his body active and mind sharp.

Mark Lawton – Executive General Manager

With over 19 years of experience in a Leadership role, Mark Lawton is highly-regarded within the recruitment industry. Mark commenced with Mass Resources in March 2022 as Executive General Manager, after a successful career operating in a similar role in Western Australia. As a passionate and driven leader, with a clear understanding of the requirements to deliver business excellence, and a high performance culture, Mark’s vision for Mass is to create a safe, trusted and inclusive business, one that is recognised as the employer of choice.

Mark has a Diploma of Leadership and Management, and is also a member of ‘The Executive Connection’, a group of business leaders and senior executives, working together to improve personal performance, broaden networks, and build the skills necessary to execute business strategies.

Andy Kelly – Business Manager, Renewables and Prof & Tech

Andy is the consummate recruitment professional with a broad bank of international experience within industry spanning fourteen years. One of Mass very first hires, his journey since joining eight years ago has seen him gain fence-line experience across almost every sector of the business. Andy is now responsible for one of the company’s most dynamic and fastest growing portfolios in Renewables, Prof & Tech.

The focus of Andy and his team is the growth of their business unit through the delivery of industry-leading service levels. His leadership outlook has been shaped by his journey at Mass, with his vision firmly set on the realisation of opportunities for his developing team.

Carrie Murphy – Business Manager, Civil & Construction

Carrie oversees our Civil and Construction team. With almost a decade of diverse experience in the recruitment space, previously she was the Principal at Starc prior to its acquisition by Mass Resources in 2019.

Carrie’s approach within the fast-moving space of civils, construction and contracting is predicated upon honesty as the main pillar to developing long-term relationships with clients founded upon trust. A foodie, dog-lover, explorer and camping enthusiast, Carrie’s high energy and positive outlook in life extends to her approach to the development of her team and service delivery to industry.

Zach Gagliardi – Business Manager, Mining

Zach heads up our driven and ambitious Mining team. Having transitioned into recruitment from a career as a defence professional with multiple overseas deployments, Zach’s instinctive leadership and organisational skills are rivalled only by his aspirational vision for his team. With over seven years in the recruitment industry, his unrelenting goals for growth and passion for service are the driving motivation to realise results for client and Mass alike.

Our Mining team are focused on fulfilling a reputation of delivering labour solutions for major projects for the top clients in the country, with Zach’s focus on becoming known for being the best. When he is not busy searching for or servicing opportunity’s, Zach loves nothing more than to switch off with mates at the footy or cricket.

Kayleigh Barnes – Business Manager, NT/QLD

An international operator with a proven track-record, Kayleigh is the head of our operations in the Northern Territory & Queensland.

Kayleigh’s commercial outlook defines her approach and is a key contributor to her growing reputation for success. A curious mindset has bought diversity to her experience during her decade in recruitment and HR, with her passion for delivering results supplemented by a drive to truly understand and connect with clients. Her diverse background having worked in sectors including engineering, manufacturing, mining, construction and aerospace allow her to effectively service broad industry and sector requirements with a unique understanding burnished by expertise.

Our resident adrenaline junkie – Kayleigh loves nothing more than the pursuit of the extreme as she methodically moves through her bucket list and enjoys the outdoor lifestyle.

Dipal Raithatha – Financial Controller

Dipal oversees Mass Resources finance and accounting operations. His diverse background, with over a dozen years working extensively within the recruitment industry, as well as having crossover experience with FMCG, retail, real estate and e-commerce, sees Dipal bringing to Mass a balanced professional approach rounded by a keen eye for detail and a sharp instinct for stats.

The focus of Dipal and his team is the ongoing evolution of our BA, accounting and finance functions. His key brief is ensuring that Mass utilises process improvement engineering to maintain our workflows and financial operations as best in breed. A registered CPA, Dipal is dedicated to making Mass as efficient as possible. Another one of our sporting fanatics, Dipal is passionate about association football and cricket in equal measure.
